Natural stones in jewelry
Most of our jewelry pieces revolve around natural stones.
“We merge with nature” is a phrase that we have made the engrís brand’s emblem, and for this reason we want to present some of the natural stones that you can find on the engrís Artisanal Jewelry website .-

Australian Jasper or Mookaite is one of the stones we use in our handcrafted designs. Its name comes from the locality where it comes from, Mooka Station in Australia . It is a multicoloured stone, often presenting several different shades of red, brown, yellow and white. It has a soft and smooth texture, which is clearly reminiscent of jasper. The spots often look like coloured sand. All our mookaite stones are faceted, which gives them a natural shine when you wear them. The Danube and Thames models are made from Australian jasper, as are the Tigris bracelets and the Kasai necklace .

Rhyolite

Rhyolite comes from volcanic eruptions as ash and granite, which materializes when magma cools. These natural stones can be found in abundance in New Zealand. They have a green or earthy hue with inlays of quartz and chalcedony. In our models, all the stones are faceted, so you can show them off with their natural shine. In our online store, you can find this piece in the Naryn or Amazona model .

Pink Opal

Opal comes mainly from Australia and is a semi-precious stone that can be found in various colours. They are opaque and not translucent. It should be noted that it is a delicate and fragile stone, and its porosity means that it can be damaged by perfumes, soaps and creams. In our collection you can find pink opal in the Tïber model, with white and pink tones.

Cornelian

Carnelian is from the chalcedony family and belongs to the quartz group. It is a semi-precious stone that is formed in the environment of volcanic rocks and from magmatic solutions with a high iron content. In most cases, the color is usually red, orange, pink or dark brown. The largest deposits of this mineral are found in Brazil . In our handmade jewelry, some of the models that have this stone are the Segre and Miño models where you can appreciate the different colors of carnelian.
